BREAKFAST (MyPlate information)
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  It provides you with the energy and nutrients that lead to increased concentration throughout your day.

You will be introduced to MyPlate and how you can assure healthy eating at all of your meals.

MENU
Boil in a Bag Omeletes
Cinnamon Toast
Tropical Smoothies
LUNCH (Grocery store ad reading, meal planning)
Eating in the middle of the day, several hours after breakfast, re-energizes your body and can raise blood sugar levels when focus and concentration are flagging.

If you’re feeling sluggish, eating even a small lunch can renew your energy and help you feel refreshed and ready to take on the next several hours. Eating lunch keeps your metabolism active, especially if you have a moderately sized meal and a snack before and afterward.

We will also learn to read store ads and meal plan using store ads information.

MENU
Chicken Quesadillas
Roasted Vegetables
Yogurt Berry Parfait
